OG Lesson

Using multisensory approach to teaching English and Maths.

English : Intervention includes increasing phonological awareness, letter-sound correspondences, rules and generalizations and writing structure. Morphological instruction such as prefixes and suffixes, can begin as the child advances.

Maths: Students with dyscalculia struggle to understand abstract mathematical concepts. So my multisensory approach will guide students through various stages :

  • concrete (using manipulatives or real objects) 

  • representational (drawing) 

  • abstract (formulas)

Group Lessons

Group sessions  (maximum 3 per group)

Although most schools in Hong Kong have their own learning enhancement departments, it is frequently impossible to cater individually. I am available to provide OG sessions in school for dyslexic students. Please message me for further details.

Academic Support for Secondary Students

Personalized Attention

I work with secondary students, specifically focussing on subjects like English and Humanities. Support is offered on organizing and structuring written work according to the  criteria and further, explicitly teaching language skills such as annotating, paraphrasing, summarizing etc.
